Farfugium japonicum
New
Leopard Plant or Evergreen Ligularia, whose beauty among variegated shade plants is hard to beat. This cultivar is grown for its large, round, yellow-spotted, spotted leaves. It has always been debated whether the spots are a virus or genetic; then they were analyzed scientifically and it turned out to be a genetic trait, not a disease. So now we know. In October, flower spikes about 60 cm tall begin to emerge that are topped with bright gold daisies. Grow in the shade with good drainage, but regular watering. This species also makes an excellent potted plant and houseplant or conservatory.
La pianta è in vaso di 14-16 cm di diametro
