Perennial herbaceous shade plant, it forms a medium-tall tuft of narrow leaves, similar to those of bamboo, white, streaked with green. A grass with showy, flat flowers that move in even the gentlest of breezes. A magnificent grass that illuminates every shaded area.
Hanging flowers that remain attractive even in winter. Useful both as cut, fresh or dried flower. In pots the beautiful foliage is enhanced; useful for giving a touch of color and light in the dark.
It grows quite quickly, in tufts, without being invasive, forming light and elegant spots. The leaves are so white that they must never sunbathe, very useful, given this peculiarity, around undergrowth plants, such as carex, ferns, hellebores, epimedium, geranium, liriope, hosta.
