A vigorous and all golden version of the species. The cascading habit makes it perfect for landscape or pot. It spreads in clumps through the rhizomes, first slowly, then more and more vigorously, up to 80 cm in diameter. Hakonechloa can withstand the sun in cool, humid climates, but requires shade in hot, dry environments, where it thrives in any case.
