Herbaceous, perennial, evergreen plant, a very decorative variety due to its arched tufted leaves with central variegation and cascading stolons with small plants. Mainly indoors.

One of the most common plants that is elegant and easy to grow. Rhizomatous perennial herbaceous with fleshy roots that allow you to remedy cultivation errors typical of beginners. Highly decorative cultivar due to the tuft of arched lanceolate leaves with creamy white central variegation, from which cream yellow stoloniferous stems emerge in spring, pendulous bearing inconspicuous but elegant little white flowers. After flowering, numerous small plants emerge from the same stems which, if the plant is grown in hanging baskets, give a further touch of elegance and take on a characteristic cascade effect. If in a mild climate, placed in the open ground to form flowerbeds or in the foreground as showy borders in cool environments and bright shade. The plant became widespread in the 1980s after a NASA study which highlighted its air purifying properties in domestic environments.
