Similar to the native digitalis that we know well, this gesneriacea grows well in bright shade conditions, with little direct sun, only in the morning. It blooms for a very long time in autumn (September-October). Fleshy, velvety leaves together with large, showy yellow and burgundy flowers make this rare plant a must-have for shade gardens. It is frost resistant down to -12°C.
