Cosmos bipinnatus is a spectacular annual flowering plant, perfect for anyone looking to create a natural, colourful garden that attracts pollinators. It produces large, daisy-like blooms in shades of white, pink, fuchsia and deep purple, flowering continuously from early summer until the first frosts.
Easy to grow and highly resilient, Cosmos bipinnatus thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, even those with low fertility. Once established, it tolerates short periods of drought and requires very little maintenance. Its airy habit and finely divided foliage add movement and a natural look to borders, flower beds, wildflower gardens and cottage-style landscapes. Under favourable conditions, it produces abundant seeds and often self-sows, returning year after year without the need for replanting.
