New
Medium-sized, fast-growing deciduous tree with strongly twisted branches and shoots. When young, the stems have a bright red-orange color, which adds to their already very ornamental value; to have redder branches it is therefore useful to prune the willow after flowering in late winter. Upright habit and narrow, twisted leaves, glaucous underneath. Yellowish catkins. Suitable for informal hedges, kept well cut low once a year.
